Masbate Tourist Spots

Masbate Tourist Spots

1. Tinalisayan Island

Tinalisayan Island was our second destination during our adventure from the Alibijaban Island to Burias Islands. Traveling from Animasola Island to this island takes an hour, but among the three islands we visited, this is irrevocably number one. When I jumped off the boat and landed on the shallow crystal clear water, I easily felt the relaxing feeling because the water was really cool, a contrary to the heat and UV rays from the sun. Our boat was parked by the tip of the sandbar, so walking on the long stretch of a fine and powdery white sand, with the other visitors on their colorful swimming attire, was just awesome! This long sandbar always greet the visitors with breathtaking beauty.

Alibijaban and Beautiful Burias Island

Alibijaban Island

Alibijaban Island and Burias Island are two beautiful islands in Quezon and Masbate, respectively. Traveling to these places is time-consuming travel but you'll be rewarded with breathtaking beauty. The island has a fine white sand shoreline with trees, bangcas, and local cottages. Mixed on the fine white sand are small living crustaceans and sea shells, and more sea shells by the seashore. The cool emerald crystal clear water is rich with underwater bio-diversity, such as fish, colorful starfish in different sizes and appearances, and many more.

Best Island to Visit Near Manila

Best Island to Visit Near Manila

Using "near Manila" is really hard to define; can eight to ten hours land travel be considered as near? Well, travel time are just numbers, for sure, you will be rewarded with a remarkable experience and spectacular and world class tourist spots. I listed down these stunningly beautiful islands we visited from January to June 2018 and it's up to you to see and experience how gorgeous they are.

Sombrero Island, Masbate

Sombrero Island is one of the islets of Burias Group of Islets. Crossing the waters of Burias Passage from Tinalisayan to Sombrero was a heart pounding experience. Not only that, as we were getting nearer to the shoreline,  coral ecosystems and underwater flora and fauna are visible because of its clear waters. I took off my pink sando while on the boat because my skin hurts, a sign that, for sure, I will have sun kissed skin due to sun burn but it's fine, am positive that my skin will still recover after a week. Instead of covering myself or applying Belo sun block before jumping off the boat to the shallow water, we just grabbed our cameras and proceeded walking by the shore.

Animasola Island, Masbate

Animasola Island
Animasola Island is one of the sun-drenched islets of Burias Group of Islands in San Pascual, Masbate. We traveled 3 hours via motorized banca from Alibijaban Island, San Andres, Quezon to witness the grandeur of nature curved on the gigantic rock, perched into the water.  Just the journey itself while crossing the sea, with the huge waves, was remarkable. Our motorized banca was like hopping on and off the huge waves. From afar, Animasola looks ordinary, the same as with the islets we've visited, however, as we were getting nearer, the view was just astounding because of its unique formation.

Alibijaban and Burias Island Contact

Alibijaban Island
Alibijaban Island and Burias Island is really a paradise! It's been three weeks when we visited these islands and I still can't move on and forget its beautiful landscape. Traveling and backpacking was remarkable because it's really long and tiring, but you will be rewarded with a picture perfect and breathtaking place. Please see photos below because  I am lacking descriptive words.
