Plus, another 2 -3 hours off-road to Sitio Kaparkan - the jump-off of Kaparkan Falls. As I always say: "time is just a number," but the reward will be a breathtaking and stunning body of water - the majestic Kaparkan Falls!

Davao de Oro Itinerary, Backpacking in Region 10, 11, BARMM

Upon research, I discovered that the province of Davao de Oro, formerly known as Compostela Valley, became the second richest province in the Philippines in 2017, according to the Commission on Audit. Why not? Aside from the local business establishments, they are the largest producers of gold (Oro) in the country; they have a lot of silver mines and banana plantations. Aside from these, they hide some precious tourist attractions, including the majestic Awao Falls.

The amphitheater-like rice terraces of the Cordillera region captured the eyes of the world in 1995 as it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site List, and Batad Rice Terraces is one of the five spectacular rice terraces of Ifugao. Mt. Romelo + Buruwisan Falls

Hiking Mt. Romelo and rappelling the Buruwisan Falls was a fun and amazing experience because the area has rich bio-diversity, both flora and fauna. There is a body of water that flows on its terrain; thus, this mountain has a high concentration of trees and other plants. It can bring a good combination of adventure and relaxation. Having said that, Laguna, together with the provinces of Batangas and Cavite, makes the region the centre for outdoor activities.

Cordillera Tourist Spot

1. Tappiya Falls

Feel the water pressure of the Tappiya Falls (photo above). It is situated in Batad, Ifugao. Like what I saw online, it truly describes nature's beauty designed by time and natural occurrences. Surrounded by mountains with trees and plants, making a more calm ambiance in the area. The pressure of the water falling creates a circular pool on the ground with crystal clear and relaxing cold waters. The river is abundant with boulders and towering limestone, adding excellent shapes to the frames.
