#WhatsOnSKY Sky is the cheapest postpaid Fiber Plan and Cable Service provider in the Philippines. There's a struggle for mobile reception in the area, so I have no choice but to connect to a Fiber line. I've signed up for Plan 999 and used their service since June 2021. In general, the broadband service in the country could be better, like other internet providers, Sky had service interruptions due to system upgrades and maintenance. Although the speed or quality of service remains the same after those technical works, hhmm, probably, they are improving their service. The real problem started in June 2024, that's after Converge took over Sky.
Internet Speed: It is still within the Fiber Plan 999 I have signed up for. On average, SpeedTest and Fast.com measure 25 to 30MBPS for download and 3 to 4MBPS for upload.
The above speed is still acceptable because I am the only one who's using it. If I am at work, Monday to Friday, usually from 4:30 AM until 4:30 PM, no one is connected and using the internet at home. What I hate is when I am at home and need to connect, no internet service is provided. For October 2024 alone, there's a total of 64 Hours of no service but the monthly bill remains the same. No billing adjustment was provided.

SKY Customer Service: The Contact Us does not work most of the time. So if you have queries about your account, want to know the recent service advisory, or want to reconnect the service, you'll be hanging and left alone. After 5 to 24 hours, Chat will be connected to someone but no assistance is provided. Then, a survey will be generated, saying "How would you rate your overall satisfaction with the service you received?" Even the Facebook Self-Service Chat Bot doesn't work all the time.
