Tori's Backpackers Paradise

Tori's Backpackers Paradise is the cheapest place to stay in Siquijor. The receptionist greeted me at their small reception area with a genuine "Good Morning, Sir!" and a smile. At that very moment, I thought that this place was perfect. I only paid 350 pesos for an overnight stay, a great deal, right? This resort is backpackers friendly because of its low price, and they have a dormitory-type room where visitors can meet other visitors. I was just sad because my visit was off-season, and only three visitors were in the resort. If you want privacy, that's not a problem because they also have private rooms.

All the rooms and cottages are built using local products such as wood, bamboo and nipa. The area is surrounded by greens, which create a relaxing atmosphere while the sea breeze is cool and fresh. There's a wide view of the golden sunset. If you're into diving, they can also arrange everything for you. Tori's Backpackers Paradise can be contacted on Ph: 09663296863, 09071326666, or search them on Facebook. READ: Location, How to Get Here, My Solo-Backpacking in Siquijor

How to Get to Tori's Backpackers Paradise:

  1. By Air: From Manila, you can fly to Dumaguete City, Cebu, or Bohol. Then, either way, you will take a ferry ride to Siquijor.
  2. What I did was booked a flight from Manila to Dumaguete Airport because it was cheaper and my backpacking was a tri-province. From Dumaguete Airport, chartered a tricycle to Dumaguete Port. Then, a fast craft ferry to Siquijor.
  3. Then, a habal ride to Tori's Backpackers Paradise.
