A TRIP TO BINURONG POINT | By the entrance of the resort, there are tricycle drivers who offer a tour to different spots in Baras, such as the beautiful and panoramic view of the Binurong Point and Balacay Point, 30 to 40 minutes. Binurong requires a tour guide during the ascent. The trail is simple, passing through banana plantations and forested areas. Guide Fee: minimum of 200 pesos. Environmental Fee: 20 pesos per head. How to Get to Puraran Surf Beach Resort:
- Via air, Cebu Pacific has a direct flight from Manila to Virac Airport; ride a tricycle to the port area where the FX to Gigmoto is stationed.
- Via land, there are bus lines with direct routes from Manila bound for Virac.
- The gateway to Catanduanes is Tabaco City Port, where you can ride a ferry to San Andres or Virac Port.
- In San Andres, ride in a tricycle to Virac Port and ride jeepneys or UV Express bound for Gigmoto but alight in Puraran beach gate.
