Situated in the Municipality of Sta. Ana, a four-hour land trip from Tuguegarao City, this spot garnered a lot of positive reviews because of its almost perfect picturesque. This island has a lot to offer, from the historic lighthouse located on top of the mountain that witnessed everything about its history to the white sand shoreline of Mabolbol. Not only that, the gorgeous plants and amazing animals can be found on the trails of Siwangag and Lagunzad.

WHERE TO STAY IN PALAUI: Ate Elsa is the most prominent individual in the island. Her house provides a homestay, where we spend overnight. Upon arrival, she greeted us with a warm smile and proceeded to our room. The rooms at her houses are spacious and ventilated, however, there's no electricity in the island, thus, locals use generators. We rested for a few minutes and then tidy up. The toilets and the faucet has unli water.
