Borawan Island is a small islet located in Padre Burgos, in Quezon Province. According to the caretaker I spoke to , the name of the islet was give by Father Vargas who discovered the islet. This islet is made up of a large stone in irregular shape, covered with grass and trees.
On the other hand, Dampalitan Island is rich with coconut trees, pine trees, mangroves and some shrubs that bears colorful flowers. Encircling the whole island is a shore with white sand beach mixed with shells and other colorful stones.
HOW TO GET TO BORAWAN AND DAMPALITAN ISLAND:
You can take a bus in Jam Liner bus terminal in Camias bound for Lucena Grand Terminal. Then, ride a bus or van to Padre Burgos. Alight in Maraw.
